Environmental, Social and Economic Sustainability in Evaluations

On this Earth Day 2024, we invite you to join colleagues, networks and organizations worldwide in declaring our commitment to include context-specific environmental, social, and economic sustainability criteria in all evaluations.

Given the fundamental threats and challenges of the day, business as usual evaluation will be insufficient. At the recent Conference on Evaluating Environment and Development in Washington DC in March 2024, over 150 evaluators and environmental professionals had the opportunity to work on a draft Declaration, currently under review.

The statement on Evaluation for Sustainability from that Declaration is available as a free-standing statement for your endorsement. It's time to systematically bring environmental sustainability into all evaluation work.

Join us on April 22nd 2024 to affirm our collective professional commitment to systematically include environmental, social, and economic sustainability and regeneration criteria in all evaluations.
